I doubt they would use the same service in as they would out, I don't think RM will be involved mate, but I could be wrong. Much more likely to be a courier firm.

Are you dim or something?
Yes probably, they said they were expecting stock in today. I'm talking abuot the delivery IN to them..

yeah the Omnia is a sluggish and dim phone. Not ideal.
Have you tried one with the firmware upgrade? My brother sent his away to be done and once he got it back the difference was incredible. Seriously tempted in getting one if the HD takes too long to be available via other networks.
Where did you play with it?
Well finally got my mits on one of these and to be honest I was quite dissappointed. The hardware is very nice as is the screen. The touch is lackluster altho I would write that down to the OS rather than the hardware capability. The response times are horrible when compared to the iPhone or the G1 especially when it comes to accelerometer response - you tip the phone and around 3 seconds later it responds with around a 2-3 frames /second animation.
I'll say this - touch HD with Android = killer phone. The hardware is gold - windows mobile is poor at best once you start to demand things from it. The coverflow style frontend is nice and responsive but the rest is laggy and in dire need of optimisation. All said tho it's something that could well be addressed in later versions of the OS and could get significantly better.
Damn...that's really thrown the cat amongst the pigeons! I was pretty set on the Touch HD, but this doesn't sound too promising.
Don't be put off by my call - the hardware is stunning - the OS needs work and you have to remember that it's the first release of it for the Touch HD - these things get fixed down the line. I too was quite set on one but the initial release price really put me off as did the initial plan prices. That's why I've gone with the G1 and I'm not regretting it so far...
I've actually found the Touch HD cheaper - £35 a month, free phone and £40 cashback (on O2, via mobiles.co.uk) as opposed to £40 for the G1....
I got my G1 on upgrade for free with £20/month incl 3GB of 'unlimited' interwibble.

Nice deal! I'm on 3 just now so have to take out a new contract wherever I go. £40 a month is just too much for me![]()
