Samsung Omnia I900 owners thread.

Well I managed to take it to another store and they have sent it off to the phone engineers to get it fixed, let's hope they can sort it out, although I think a replacement would have been better... Saying that the man at the store was very rude, said he could hardly notice it and he even attempted to rub it off :confused: so yeah I have to wait 14 days and I didnt even get a replacement for this period.
 
just a word of warning on rom flashing, done it loads of times but was unlucky and something went wrong... I have created a brick oops
 
Anyone else have intermittent problems with Googlemail on the Omnia??... every now and then it asks me for the password again (I've got it checking google and Yahoo every 15 minutes), but the most annoying is when it won't send an email!.. thought it was signal (I was in a crap area) but even when back in a 100% area it still complains and won't send it!...

Is it just Googlemail's servers being flakey as I've never had this problem with Yahoo!!.

(BTW: Google is on IMAP and Yahoo is on POP).

:(, no boot loader wont power on except red light...

pc had just downloaded boot section and said restarting phone but it didn't restart just crashed :(

reading around looks like it's cooked... still should be able to get it replaced no probs

Oh not good - Thought the phone companies would say warranty is invalid though because you are changing the firmware?
 
Vodafone rom needed

I have to send my phone back tomorrow but i have changed the rom.

Does anyone have a Vodafone rom image that I could use to restore to its original self ?

It was originally:

Pda: i900XXHHD/ACHH3
Phone: i900BUHH2

Although any Vodafone rom will do !

I had to do that exact thing from T-mobile... absolute nonsense it was.

I just cant get on with the Omnia, picked up my Iphone today and i love it.
