well while that might be true, they didnt quest for lvling they/he just as said above got aload of ppl to grind mobs for him all day. seriously thats fun ?!?!

I just dont get it.

I'm going to back them up just incase. but they have said you will need to keep the last patchs. because the install is basically going back then you have to patch forward.....silly i know. But im backing it all up just in case :p

This.

They had played beta and knew what they were doing. As for the fun factor, the fun for them was being a part of "world first" to 70.

Also to add the few people that did help had leveled to 62/63 so they must have done some quests. I can't remember all the details as it was nearly 2 years ago now. Google will explain all but I pretty much covered it I think.
 
tbh im not all that fussed about it :p

I was just wondering what peoples thoughts on how quick a lvl 80 will emerge :D

I haven't nuked any of mine :p Saved all of them!

I really am loving my UI right now. Just a few more "bits" to alter.

I am using Bartender 3.0 at the moment, is it possible to use another addon to make the buttons look more pretty (as in rounded or whatever) in conjuction with Bar
 
just dinged lvl 65, never gonna make 70 in time. 60-70 is a real drag after having the refer-a-friend triple XP. Im off next week too ,. bah lol

My warlock is level 56 :(

I think I am going to stalk friends to take me in to ramparts at 56, you can enter at 55, everyone I know can probably solo it without difficulty.

I REALLY am missing being affliction, but questing withoug fear in plague lands (undeads) isn't fun, so went felguard. I am shocked by the pounding he can take. He actually was living against level 59 mobs when I was 53 or 54.

tbh its where i got the name i got called it when i was about 4 by my friends and it has just kinda stuck.

I have no idea why i was called it. I am a bit of a cheapskate i really dont like spending money unless i really have to :)
 
IMHO the first level 80 should appear before the weekend.

With some of the grind nutters I have in my guild, I should see a level 80 by early next week.

As for me, I've kidnapped our MT and healer. Gonna level using instances.
 
me and a friend have booked the thursday/friday off work and im going to his with my PC and we're just gonna discover the new world! wooot! so geeky but tis nice once in a while! :)

got 3 characters to get to level 80 though, bit of a drag! lol
 
Grinding doesn't bother me honestly.

But since I am further behind (56 ATM with my warlock, should hit 59 - 60 before wrath though) and my DK will be 55 I am guessing I won't be the servers first 80 :(

I could go with my priest though, but I figure I may as well level the others first... it will be TORTURE because my friends will run to northrend and I will be in instances.

I have said I will tank with my DK for a good online friend, as he has helped me tons with his prot paladin which he is leveling first, he is going to then do his rogue. I will tank for his rogue, and my other online friend has her warlock, so all we need is one healer.
 
aye im leveling my priest really for that reason. I think the whole place is gunna get swamped by DK's and therefore everyone is gunna want a healer. So if guildies are busy i reakon i can pug it quite easily.

Having said that i can pug easy now, that along with my long list of friends having contacts is always a good thing :)

Man making it sound like im a e-gangster :p lol

Apparently, in the beta a LOT of DK's dropped off before they even left hellfire, simply because they aren't "super over powered" or the complexity.

Reading a few poles apparently DK -> Afflcition warlock -> Shadow Priest -> are the hardest classes to use (I am talking to do GREAT with in DPS, as in getting the most out of them, not rolling your face over the keyboard until the end of the boss fight).

I am currently enjoying the crying of a few warlocks I know because shadow bolt spam no longer works, 1 even switched because he can't use it properly anymore :rolleyes:

aye silly imo.

Yea ive heard the same thing about DK's but i can see it still wont stop people playing it as it will be something new to do. atm on my server tanks and healers are in high demand - i suppose like most servers tbh.

Since im a fairly good healer ive got my name passed around a few guilds and such so i have a lot of people /w me asking if i will heal this dungeon that dungeon. I just hope it will be the same in wotlk. So that way i can still happily lvl as holy doing dungeons (guild or pug) and questing when i want.

Oh also once i get flying mount im gunna fly round everywhere to get my "the explorer" title and tabard :D
 
My server is kind of new, and everyone in my guild apart from one is very happy with their characters at the moment.

I think because we don't even have many guilds that have seen inside BT this will make people kind of focused too.

At the moment a lot of people are trying paladins out, but I get the feeling they had them already (since they are already level 70) and just didn't use them or something.

Still, roll on WOTLK. And roll on not needing to do Kara/ZA/whatever else constantly because you are bored.

I am making a DK my new main for exactly this reason, I am really looking forward to the challenge!
