ill take the code if you still have it :rolleyes: but i guess ill just wait for the public release and if it is out in time ill download it tonight and play with you guys.

one question though, if your team mate gets pinned down but you cant save him does he/she die or do they just stay trapped on the ground shooting. and if they do die do you fail or do they sit out for the rest of the game or something?

oh and how can i get into the ocuk community?

no new drivers , gfx card (temp is fine been default since i bought it) , i never goto Desktop , the game loads fine. The apartments level is perfect .. only happends on the subway level :/
 
When pinned the zombies still attack until they incapacitate you, and after that you have a kind of second health pool that diminishes. When that is empty you die.

If you die, you will respawn in a "rescue room" and your team must come and rescue you.
 
Grrr, I just want to pre-load the thing.

And people coming on here saying it's available are not helping :p

I do actually have the demo you see, I was just trying to feel how someone who doesn't have the demo must feel, obviously failing :p
 
Thanks for the suggestions - I will try the paged memory one - mine was on low I think. I have tried the affinity trick but that didn't seem to help - the same with the console command for using multi-cores. I will not need to buy a new pc just yet methinks - I *WILL* make L4D work ... :o

Then you sir, can go away...Or let me remote desktop to your computer with no control so I can atleast pretend I'm playing :(
