Anyway, i've got my PS3 setup but the strange thing is that when i set the "display" settings to use on the TV, the PS3 says it supports all formats up to 1080p????
Feed it 720p, the native resolution of the set and most games anyway. Better than then sending it a signal from the PS3 that has been upconverted to 1080p, thus making the tv having to convert it down again to 720p. Best PQ should in theory come from the purest signal with least amount of faffing around.
But to confuse things I have the PS3 signal to my kuro going at 1080i for upscaled dvds and games but blurays are auto switched to 1080p. Don't ask me why 1080i, but steve (bumtious) an ISF calibrator told me to set it up this way
Cheers -Ad-, i'll just leave it 720p for ALL useage (gaming, bluray).
Its in the 2nd living room and i doubt it will get used much apart from when my nephew's are around and they will just use it for gaming. I've got the 50" for my pleasure
