BF2 sucks after a few days, once you get a decent skill at most things then that's it, same old, it's more a fun free roam thing than a skiller.

COD4+5 suck, the controls and movement are so bad, i just can't see what the attraction is.

Quake wars is pretty good.

AA is good, maybe a contender...

Haven't played Halo multi so maybe that is better...

But ET:Wolf still wins for raw skill, teamwork, craftiness and aiming....

RTCW was the game that got me into online gaming back in 2001. I played that RTCW back in the day on a 56k modem and enjoyed every minute that I was lagging out. I now enjoy a slower paced shooter like COD4/5, playing it on HC and S&D is just the right pace for me.

COD4 controls and movement is where it's at, their sublime Besides didn't you know they were configurable

I was going to say the same exact thing. RO has a huge learning curve and is one of the hardest games I've ever played online, also one of the best.

for me TFC when i was still clanned (escaping public servers.) was my greatest multiplayer experience. With true offence and defence team work, ate up a lot of my time.

and RTCW was a lot better than ET in my opnion ...

RTCW > all. ET was good, but having played in clans at the top level of competition in RTCW, it will always be my favourite. While newer shooters like CoD are brilliant, the objective based/class based gameplay will always win out against "pure deathmatch" shooters (even search and destroy comes down to DM in the end)
