Anyone have problems logging in to steam?

Also, who wants to play half life 2 L4D maps? :D


Do all of the below:
open /steam/steamapps/source materials.gcf
and extract the contents of /hl2/materials/ to
steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead demo/hl2/materials

open /steam/steamapps/source models.gcf
and extract the contents /hl2/models/ to
steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead demo/hl2/models

open /steam/steamapps/episode 1 shared.gcf
and extract the contents of /episodic/ to
steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead demo/hl2/

open /steam/steamapps/half-life 2 episode one.gcf
and extract the contents of /episodic/maps to
steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead demo/left4dead/maps
Server #1: 67.85.154.146:27010
Server #2: 67.85.154.146:27013
Pass: epone

Notes:

* Maps are on a timer, you will get an announcement before the map changes. If your whole team dies the timer will be reset.
* In the hospital map you can fall down into water. If you fall go to an edge and press space till you reach the top and get onto the stairs.
* You can see the sky at 2 doors, don't be alarmed, it's an Area Portal that is not opened correctly. Just go into it and it will be all fine.


Ravenholm:

I am aware that a lot of you would like to play Ravenholm in L4D and I am working on that. There are a few problems though:

* The first map crashes on load (There's a model or a texture that is incompatible with L4D).
* The map before the last is not really playable because L4D does not support swimming in water and you just fall to your dead when you jump into water.

I dunno about that. On expert there are more zombies and you see Horde's comming from you more frequently.

Also, zombies do attack from different places a great deal of the time. The worst thing is on expert when there is a horde that rush you and included in the horde are two random bosses.

When you have played it so long you do see similarities, I agree, but it IS different.

A few nights ago my team had a Horde, Boomer Explosion then a Tank in a row pretty much. That was some good fighting, although we lost that particular round :(
 
Can anyone actually join a game via the friends list? Every time I've tried it just goes "Third party mod not installed"...So unless they are on a modded server...I have no idea.

Yeah...I logged in via the community page as a whole, went to the OcUK group page, joined, then went into the chat room...And the group was on my friends list? I just clicked the '+' sign and they where all there :p
