Plus my xbox might not be modded but when i take my Memory Card with profile round to me friends with his modded xbox i would be punished for his box being modded...

This is the same conversation as a year ago, if they have detected something the modders will just find a new way around it - everyone knew this would be a cat and mouse game

They might have some way of reading the DVD firmware in the NXE dash, how many different original firmwares are there? Would it be feasible for this detection method to work?

seems like a doomed system then, did i hear that soon u can install full game on2 the HD? surely i will take 2 minutes to hack the game start like on the ps2?

rent game, install, apply no cd crack etc

Don't see it being cracked for ages tbh. Certainly not in the manner you suggest. I think it is fair to say Microsoft have learnt from previous mistakes re piracy. Possibly they can't do much about the existing DVD firmware modding, but I doubt they will leave a huge loophole to be exploited quickly in NXE.

Not that easy. In 3 years they still haven't got the 360 to run unsigned code so that's not happening any time soon.

Thats quite a sweeping statement to make. The only way to ensure you dont get banend is not to play anything other than original games.

You could very well be right! Od, they may read the firware while the 360 is downloading the dash update....

Nobody has a better understanding of how their console works than Microsoft, pirates thinking they are always one step ahead are kidding themselves. Only Microsoft what data they gather in order to issue a ban.
