which cooler is better than the Thermalright SI-128?

this week only on overclockers you can choose the core contact freezer/arctic cooling and tuniq - all discounted

go for one of those - you cant lose

well you have said you want "the best" cooler.. that is the TRUE.. as I have said anything else is a sideward or backward step.. compaired to what you currently have
i will say this one last time. all of the another Thermalright coolers are to big on the hight, now do you understand ? also if hight wasn't an issue, the mounting would be the same as the one i currenty have which is really crap.

Unless you are re-mounting your cooler every couple of days may be a bitch to get on but once its on does it matter? As I say if you want better performance with the SI-128 get a more powerful fan
i just upgraded motherboard about a week ago and the cooler moves around a lot even though the screws are fully tight.

Well all i am saying is that you wont get better.. without going to a TRUE.. if you want to spend your money on down grading your current cooler that is ofc your decision.

Thermalright's often do move slightly when mounted, this is normal.. if you really want to stop the slight movement you can use a washer under the mounting braket although it is really not needed

ohhhhh ****. i ordered the Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME yesterday and now its on "this week only" today..:(

oh well i guess that how it is...

im still waiting for it to be delivered today..

Is that with the bolt mod?

Both my SI-128 and U120E moved a lot before i did this.

gt
i've tryed some washers and it does help abit but it still moves. also after about week you can see the heatsink as turned so it isn't covering all of the cpu.

tbh if the Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME is worser then i'll just send it back. no big deal really.

gareth170: Like a few others I would opt for the Noctua NH-U12P. There's a cooler roundup on our web (www.vortez.co.uk). It uses the secFirm mounting method which is great.

The Core-Contact Freezer will be reviewed very soon - this is suppose to be a great performer!

the Noctua NH-U12P.is 158mm hight so its to big on hight and The Core-Contact Freezer is 155mm hight which is to big . i would need to remove the 36cm side fan just to fit it in. the max hight i can have is 137mm so i don't need to remove the 36cm side fan.

Ok, have you considered the Noctua NH-C12P? This is a down-draft style cooler rather than a tower style. Latest review on our web, take a look

i will probably considered that cooler if the Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME turns out to be worser..

do anyone know what time does city link deliver up to?
