It's not that.

They are not my images, and its just out of respect to my family, that's all :)
 
To my knowledge it wasn't anyone on this forum. Considering I'm the only Tog in my area on this forum :p
 
Then why start the thread in the first place. If we cant see the images, how can we ever tell if they are crap are not.

Just becuase you say they are doesn't mean the rest of us will think that.

Its not hard to remove some features from the face so we can see.

I second that. But without seeming them £800... is a HELL of a lot and would expect something pretty awesome...

Because he wanted to have a public rant about it, whats wrong with that? They are her photos and its not Phates right to post them up so a bunch of strangers can comment on them and he made the right decision by not doing so.
 
Out of interest then, what is the going rate for a set of proffesional photos, including I assume prints of same? I wouldn't know if £800 was the cheap end of the market or not, which would naturally result in "average at best" pictures as you describe?
 
£800 for some pics in a studio - Im in the wrong job :(

Maybe get down there and strap some Alien Bees AB1600's to his eyelid and see how he feels.
 
Look on the bright side, at least she's got someone like you in the family who can sort a set of photos out for her, and when you do a good job, I assume she might drop your name if anyone asks her where she went. :)

Nah it isn't really. £800 including prints for a days work is at best average unless you're a) underselling yourself, or b) a student :D

Wasn't prints dude, 70 images on a CD.

Anyway, I did the shoot today and shes very happy with the results, and I haven't even processed the images yet. So she's feeling a lot better about the whole thing now :)
