Anyone that has noticed any of my posts on these forums will know I'm an absolute sucker for any CE/LE versions of games even if it ups the price to double what the actual game costs (my latest purchase being the Hardcore Edition of Gears 2)

Anyone else got the same obsession as me and if so what are the best ones you've purchased?

Mine has to be the BioShock CE, the level of detail and quality of build Big Daddy figurine I still think is outstanding (especially after the tat figurine that came with the LE of Fallout 3)
 
I want to be that obsessive but finances always let me down :(
Really wish I could have afforded the Bioshock CE but instead I had to make do with the tin box.
 
I've only ever bought the LE of GOW/GOW2 and Forza...

Only because of the extra DVD's worth of stuff for GOW and for the book for Forza. I probably wouldn't spend anything more than £50 for any LE game though.. So far, I've managed to get all for under £40 each..

I used to be mad about SE/CE games but now I adopt the above. Every sodding game nowadays seems to have them and not all are remotely even worth it. Just the devs milking the hype.

im a sucker for steel tins, art books and ost's... don't really bother with anything else, especially if they hike the price up
 
I really like getting Collector's editions but only if i have the cash. I bought the gold lancer and compared to the ones in this thread mine seemed very poor quality!

should have taken pictures of it really, but i didn't like it that much. Im a sucker for collector's editions that include art books, figures and documentary/extras.

I snapped up the fallout 3 collectors tin and Gears of war 2. I've only just started getting collectors editions as i only used to be able to afford the standard versions.

I had a limited edition Zelda ocarina of time when i was a kid, house got robbed and i only got the standard edition back from insurance :<.

Got the Gold Lancer replica as well (I like collecting stuff like that)

I love the DVD's that came with both versions of gears. Packed with cool stuff (I always watch the DVDs)

360 Bioshock Collectors Edition is £14.99 delivered at a certain etailer at the moment...

i only really get ce versions of games that im looking forward to a lot or if i find them cheap :p

I'd love some LE/CE Final Fantasy stuff, but i never had any money at the time i was getting them in the past so all i have are some LE Guide books.
