I really hate wearing shirt, ties and trousers. It's probably one of the reasons i'm career changing at the minute. I look like a 12 year old whenever I put a shirt and tie on.

I also cannot move when I'm in them. I look like a robot when I'm walking. So i'm trying to avoid all office type jobs at the moment which doesn't go well for me as my job was in I.T

Don't mind it, I love my casual clothes but I treat my work clothes just the same.....I mean your wearing them more than you casual stuff so it's worth getting it right.

If they make you look like a 12 year old then your choice in shirts, ties and trousers are wrong.

To some extent this must be true. Don't like wearing them myself much though; one job I did had smart casual attire, that was baffling for me ;):D

Yes, although I keep getting told I look good wearing a shirt and tie but only if the shirt is out with sleeves rolled up and a black tie.

Otherwise I look like I'm on bring your son to work day.

Almost all my colleagues wear suit trousers and an open collared shirt. I am one of the few that wears suit, shirt and tie.

Where I work also has a dress down friday, and it amazes me that people come to work in dirty jeans and an old hoody. I tend to just wear smart plain jeans and something casual with a collar.

Wearing a tie isn't fanastic and fortunately not many places require it. When the time comes to don the mighty tie, I usually have the top button of the shirt undone and the tie loosened a bit.

I wear baggy jeans and an Elmo or Cookie Monster t-shirt most Fridays. :)

I sometimes change out of my shorts into some tracky bottoms if i need to walk around the office at all. Fortunately at our new office the server room is going to be next to my desk so even less reason to change :p

I work in an office, our supplier all wear shirt/tie...... my client wears casual... so I wear whatever I want within reason (no ripped jeans or mankini's)..... this includes wearing swimming shorts and flip flops walking around the office :D

I wouldn't do my job if I had to wear shirt and tie everyday
