tbh after 13 years or so going to school with the same people i ended up kind of hating most of them. I came from a strong community school in a smallish village so it's kind of hard to avoid people even though i dont live there anymore. I always bump into old school folks and usually try and avoid them which always brings a lot of issues so it seems.....

Ahhh i should just try and be a cheerier person but with all the doom and gloom news it's kind of hard to do...:D:D

I seem to have acquired a few through Facebook but I've moved away from where I grew up so the chances of me bumping into anyone I knew from school are slim to bugger all. Just as well really since a lot of them were arse holes.

I go out to the pub with some guys I've known right from the start of school.

I only left school 3-4 years ago so I still keep in touch with a lot of them (most of them still being close friends), not so much with College though.

In fact I am heading out to Portsmouth at some point in the future to see one of them at Uni \o/

yup, left school, most of us went to the same 6th Form, then different universities, but even now, we meet up a few times a year. Either in London, or home town. At least once a year, we all get together at Christmas and do a pub crawl, been going on 10 years now.

A bit, but only on Facebook. The old friends I keep in touch with are the people I knew at church years ago, where I grew up.

Yeah, my main friends are nearly all people I went to school with.

There's some saying I've heard that "the friends you make at university are your friends for life", but I've only met up with one of them maybe twice since graduating 7.5 years ago.

I haven't bothered chasing up any school chums on social networking sites as it would all seem a bit weird to me. Although I suppose, I haven't got much to use (other than my ego being dented by lack of 'friends', as I've only added people I actually speak to - bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy!)

I stayed friends for a number of years with a couple of guys who were with me in the sixth form. The friendship ended when they spiked my drink with acid at a party. :(

I had that done to me once, fortunately it was pre-arranged and I got him too, we knew it was going to happen, we just didn't know when.

If I hadn't expected it, two things could have happened, I'd either have had one of the worst nights of my life..or I'd have made a new friend.
