When can I safely buy an Xbox

Be sure it's not banned. (if buying pre-owned.)


But I'm sure all big stores have latest models.. especially around now they're probably selling a lot so they'll get a lot of new deliveries.
 
i don'y know why peopel would want to modify to play games that have been copied as you wont get the full benefits ie game updates ect and the online experience is really good.
They can wait a month and the prices of games come down anyway.

They take the chance of not getting banned. If they do, they usually just buy another Xbox and start again (or have a spare for playing retail games online)
 
Don't really understand that myself ^^
If you are going to pirate then do it, go online, and then IF you get banned then get a 2nd xbox at that point.
 
The new system update allows you to install games to the HDD, so noise will be reduced by far. Also, it seems reliability has improved a lot in the past year; but even if yours breaks, you can still get a replacement within one or two weeks.
 
So do you need the disks ones you've installed a game onto the hard drive cause you could just rent games then install?
