The Fall Price Of Oil...

Have house prices really come down that much where you live, especially when you factor in the current state of mortgages?

They are cheaper, there are also less obtainable despite the fact they are cheaper... Hardly a win overall.

That's what annoys me with the UK - the tax added to fuel! As ppl have mentioned it has dropped 2/3's of the highest price over the summer yet the price per litre has not!
Over here it's cheaper than Pepsi right now :D It is $1.79 for a gallon! It cost me about $25 to fill up :p
Oh I also here 'talk' on some news stations with predictions as low as $45 a barrel !!!

Is that Sawley Lancashire ShakenNstirred?

Anyway, BP 95 RON has gone to 94.9 here. We usually have slightly inflated prices due to location here so im quite happy with that price. I hope it will las t over this xmas period. Will make visiting familiy and days out a bit easier. Beats paying 110+!

Owning a diesel motor is less attractive than it has ever been due to diesel shortfall too, and will continue to get worse. Shame for Fabia VRS owners.

What have i been saying for months and months? Oh yeah :D

its has dropped it was 130p a litre here and its now 106p a litre
so it has dropped in line with petrol
were i live petrol is 97p a litre and diesel is 106p a litre

case in point - went past a non independent garage this morning:
petrol - 95p
diesel - 108p

Im seeing petrol drop more than I am seeing diesel drop. Also, it wasnt so long ago that diesel was actually cheaper than petrol

This morning I reset the computer on my Passat and drove 8 miles to work, normally.

The car returned 25.1mpg.

Hmm.

Clearly you've broken it more than you let on!

It's always done that - mid to high 20's. On the motorway when I go see a client or whatever it'll be mid 40's - which is fine, but my monthly average must be terrible as the commute kills the numbers.

Just making me think now, the economy isn't that great, then factor the price differential.

All this and Subaru are desperately trying to tempt me back to them (I do work for Subaru).
