Decided to setup an ek waterblock on the 4870x2 for giggles, temps seem to have improved massively under load, bare in mind rooms temps are 24 degrees - full load on the GPU were under 40 degrees with an overclock of 800/1000, idle temps were 30-32 degrees.

Plus I'm thinking about w/c my 4870X2, how easy was the EK block to fit? I've heard some horror stories due to the poor instructions supplied.

The EK block was very easy to install but... they don't supply washers for the base of the block, only washers for the RAM sinks. I had the 4870X2 shorting out constantly with LED errors for g13 and g14. I will actually copy and paste my post from OCAU to here for people to refer to - its a real pain if this happens, the one screw that was causing it I screenied. So you have two loops right? Are both rads in the roof?

Yup, its hard to see the other tubing - it sits at the back near the res. One rad is in the roof, I used a jigsaw to cut out the top of the case and the second rad is at the front, facing upwards.

Thanks Warpy :)

Is the 360mm rad on your GFX card? I can only fit a 240mm rad into my TJ09 using the mounting kit so I'm thinking I'll have to run my 4870X2 at stock and be happy with the reduced noise levels.

I'm not sure what you mean. I have the RS360 in the loop for the GPU inlet and the outlet is connected to the RS240. :)

think there's some confustion here, I looks Like your using 2 rads in one loop rather than 2 separate loops. one for the Grafix and another for the CPU

A 360 will fit but needs modding

another way is using the 240 and brackets and then another 120 rad on the grafix intake fan.
