*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

Need some help here guys

I just entered the code i bought off ebay and it accepts it saying

your activation code has been registered

However when i try to log in to the launcher it says my pass is wrong when i know it's not. Does it take a while for the card to register?

Is it normal that i could not log in to the launcher when i had no subscription?

the last part sounds right - what happens when you log into the account management page on the website? Should tell you if your game is active or whatever (sorry this isnt very helpful..! )

I ended up in a scenario with just me and a single desto player.

I got to ask ,

who won lol...

I think there are 3 or 4 servers that seem to have enough people so far. But its a big ask to ask someone who has a lvl 25+ char to reroll to another when it would be simple enough to start a char transfer instead.

Problem is is that in GOA's retarded opinion having both high and low-pop servers transfer to medium pop servers is better than having the low/medium-pop servers fill up the high-pop ones, despite the fact nobody is going to want to move away from high-pop servers.

Even though our server is dying, we still had an awesome night last night.

Doing some T3 objectives, started to take the ones in High Pass when a group of destructions turn up.

Pretty even fight with them, back and fourth for about 30-45 minutes. We eventually beat them and took the objective and waited for the defence. They didn't come back...

The objective was ours, we start moving to the next one and get ambushed by some of the damn witches (?) that had turned themselves invisible.

3 Level 40 and lord knows how many 35+ dests turn up (our group was 25~, one 19 and one 37)... we got our arses handed to us! But we relentlessly came back and fought.

Our guild was getting a bit bored of getting out muscled, so I stripped off naked... ran into the battle and started doing /special to what appeared to be their leader :D

After 3 or 4 deaths, I kept doing it... then he stopped attacking and started waving. A player in our guild (the R37) started jumping randomly around another two DPS destructions and the battle between us 5 people stopped. We just started waving, and emoting at each other for 5 mins or so.

The rest of our WB came to see just WTF was happening, as did theirs... and we stood there for another 7 or 8 minutes just emoting and laughing :D

Then the battle carried on, we got out levelled and out numbered and we retreated... waving to them as we left as they cheered us :p

The whole thing went on for roughly an hour, so not a huge fight time wise... but it was an awesome experience :D

You guys seen the server transfer options? Of the two, one is Kazak Norn, which on login you will notice it's one of the servers they say "needs reinforcements on frontline" i.e. deserted. Idiotic or what.

Me and the guild have settled on eltharion now i think, none of us are logging into our T3/T4 chars anymore, server is empty. We are all mid T2 now, i grinded a bit last night to get level 12 and one of the lads rolled a new healer, so i'm hoping we can all be around same level and do everything together, which should be by weekend tbh.

The scenario's were painful last night. I did best run ever, as an IB, was getting like 3-4 solo kills and double figures of DB's, topping damage charts every time. As a tank. Show's how bad there were. I got a guildy to group with me, then suddenly we both topped damage charts. For most parts, it's me going in to tank and expecting people to assist on my target and healers to keep on me. Wrong. They watch me run in, then run away and within seconds i got 5-6 destro on me whilst they watch.

I'll repeat what i said yesterday though, just bite the bullet and re-roll, unless you want to transfer from a low/low server to an actual empty server, the waiting game aitn worth it, when in that time you could be having real fun. It's a totally different game with this many people.

Zorbie :).

My main was Zorbs on World's Edge, Runepriest, Rank 25/RR 23, levelling the crafting too. But could be a lot worse and be Rank 40 like some people i've met (one guy in guild left behind a lvl 40 Black Orc)

How about you?

I've spoke to some of the devs last night and they're working on a feature to get guilds transferred across through the servers which is good :)

We've got a R14 guild, transferring all the chars over and rebuilding the guild from scratch would be such a pain :(

No date on when it's gonna be out, or even if they do it at the same time as char moves.

i left a level 15 BW on another server due to there not being enough order on it. its painful, but at least you know where the quests are so its not too bad, lvl 40 would hurt a lot more.

But your right, having people to fight makes the game a lot better to play and gives it the feel of war that it should have...

R14 NikeBee, one more for the guild cloak :)

1.0.4b patch out today

* When conquered, Keeps will always provide three gold loot bags and Fortresses will now offer six guaranteed gold loot bags as part of the chest loot.
* Rally Masters have been added to all warcamps. Now, players can set their rally point in a warcamp in the same manner as binding in a chapter hub.
* To promote population balance among the various scenarios, we have added a feature that reduces the number of times a specific scenario can launch in a short period of time. This will give scenarios which are launched less frequently an opportunity to catch up in the queue population and launch more often.

Fixed an issue that prevented grouped players from earning influence if the group's leader was in a different zone.

ENGINEER
* Electromagnet: This ability has undergone significant changes. The cost of the ability has been significantly reduced while the cooldown has been increased. In addition the build time has been increased, the ability can no longer be cast on the move, and the maximum number of targets affected by this ability has been decreased and it can now be defended against. Lastly this ability will grant immunity to knockback effects.

MAGUS
* Chaotic Rift: This ability has undergone significant changes. The cost of the ability has been significantly reduced and its cooldown has been increased. In addition, the build time has been increased. The ability can no longer be cast on the move, the maximum number of targets affected by this ability has been decreased, and it can now be defended against. Lastly, this ability will also grant immunity to knockback effects.

In addition to reducing the amount of damage received from high-level encounter NPCs, each Ward on high-level armor set pieces worn will now affect the amount of damage players are able to do to those NPCs. Players not wearing any pieces of the appropriate armor set will see their damage greatly reduced. For each piece of the appropriate armor a player wears, their damage against the boss monster will increase.

Wouldn't bother me or my guild, which i think is R13. The fact would be moving to a completely empty deserted server from a deserted empty server would be pointless.

Both Karak Norn and Izor are not medium, they are empty servers. Rather than face facts and merge servers, they are trying to do some card shuffling trick and turn them into medium servers. Nah, that's unfair tbh, because GOA don't have the first idea how to merge servers.

The devs are good, Mythic are good. Shame they have nothing to do with the EU customer base; what they say and do doesn't have much effect on us, we got France Telecom :(

I've noticed something. In scenario's, Destruction are all at the high end of the tier, within 2-3 levels of each other and they stick as a group, protecting healers, etc. Yet Order are all scattered in levels, usually mid-low end of the tier, running around not doing a fat lot.

This is every scenario, is it something in the two playstyles you think?

No, just needs someone on order side to tell the muppets how to win, normaly me shouting at everyone and pushing them towards the flags/items instead of standing off fighting for no good reason.

Seems though that a lot of the organised players play the 'baddies' in a lot of the online games now leaving us with a lot of new to online gaming people to mould into good fighting teams...

But its fun when you do beat a prebuilt team with 12 noobs lol....

Im Rank 13/RR 13 now, should get 15 tonight i hope if i can think of a reason not to go out with the missus (blah blah, you shouldn't put game first, you havent met her :P).

Most are 15-18 now, when we all catch up to similar levels, im thinking late T2, early T3, it's a crack team of RvR assassins. Need more healers though!

Ah, I get loads of these buggers on K8P too :(
Being a rune priest(12) and keeping out of the way before I know it they've crept up on me and I've had it. It's the same bloody guild too
Order also appears not to be very organised (I'm talking scenarios here mind, with just random people).
Also there's never any chatter in the scenarios either :(

I've found T2 to be better, T3 even more so. But until T3, as a healer, you'll be on your own and totally unappreciated.

I might roll a new one actually, cos i left my T3 one on a dead server, but i liked the class.
