Just one of the players I thought is worth a look... Noticed on the teletext yesteday that some premiership teams are possibly going to try to get this guy. He's available for nothing at the start of the game (or at least is in the demo) as he's a free agent.

Stephen Appiah - DMC / MC - Ghana international

Pretty decent statwise, although only downer is he is out for 2 months at the start of the season with a virus (maybe you can bring it down or something with club's doctors?).
 
apparently the exchange rate is meanin that buying it directly from steam is costing £35 so it would be beta 2 save a fiver and get it from the shop, u also get the disc that way and if u format u dont have 2 keep downloading it etc
 
I was going to refrain from buying this for a couple to weeks until the patch had sorted the issues, but my local game selling shop, is opening at midnight because some 46 titles are being released, so I might pick it up then.

i have it already cos i pre-ordered it online and they always send them out early

i really want to play and carry on my demo save!!! i am playing as leeds and the last game before the end of the demo was FA Cup against man city. had an absolutely insane game where i won 5-4 after being 4-1 down at one stage!! i was actually going mad in RL lol. i just decided to pretty much go 4-2-4 and they couldn't deal with it, along with this new guy i brought on who was making his debut. they spent like £80mil on transfers as well, including buying a really terrible keeper in my reserves for £20k :/

Actually I am fairly sure you can put your demo save into the full game, only you won't have your own pick of available countries and leagues like you would if starting a new game on the full version.



And on my game Man City have spent a lot of money on relatively average players.
