Just wondering if any else uses novamin tooth paste? ive been using it for 4 weeks now and ive seen my teeth whiten and they seem to be stronger, plus i had a some decay on my upper wisdom tooth went to get my gum sheild today and the dentist didnt comment about the decay.
so i was wondering if anyone else has seen some positive results using novamin toothpaste?

I have to go to boots tomorrow, incidentally, is it expensive? My teeth stain easily, I've been meaning to get them whitened for ages, this might be a good temporary measure.

Sounds good, the best ever switch I made was going from brushing to an electric toothbrush that tells you when to switch and if you pushing to hard.

Yes, ditto! Mine has a timer too, it's amazing how your perception of time is really wrong with things like brushing.

Toothpastes and mouthwashes aren't necessary to keep teeth healthy. The act of brushing is the only thing that removes the plaque biofilm from the teeth, no amount of chemicals you shove in there will get rid of it. My dentist uses nothing but a toothbrush to keep his clean, and not one of those stupid Nerf-style, flexy, glow in the dark yellow ones either.

Those adverts where the guy has an explosion in his mouth after taking the mouthwash make me laugh, they're trying to make out that the mouthwash removes plaque like some sort of depth charge, it's complete rubbish.

I have no experience with whitening pastes, I assume they just use some sort of dye to achieve the effect. They're almost certainly purely cosmetic though, your teeth appearing stronger and healthier as a result is probably due to you brushing for longer and more frequently.

It isnt abrasive to the teeth and its not sold as a whitening paste, ive been reading about it since i purchased it and it meant to be good, however its £5 pounds i was recommend to use it and also a fluoride toothpaste in combination.

from what ive been told its better than sensodyne as sensodyne only hides the problems, this actually resolves it.
Its the same tech they use in bone surgery or something like that, its also in in your saliva but at a much higher level.

Different people, different things.

My former dentist told me to use a mouthwash...

Sodium fluoride is a toxic substance that is a left over from aluminium processing... so like aluminium is very good for making you slow and docile.

Male rats when given fluoride in drinking water no longer fight to the death when put in a cage together.

Just the thing i want seeping into my gums every morning.

Euthymol for the win!!

Does your dentist wear tin foil hats and travel in horse-drawn carts?
