Kids TV show about a dog

I'm looking for the name of a kids TV show I used to remeber being on when I was younger. It was a cartoon and it had a shaggy dog who talked like he was really tired... and I think it was narrated. Oh and it was quite boring if I remember.... Any ideas? Don't ask why i want to know!
