Looking at those stats though, K8P doesn't have a much higher pop than Hirn, which is starting to seem a bit deserted. Eltharion might be open RvR, but that's not such a big deal in WAR.

Basically both are busy, but Eltharion is busiest easily, you're talking High/High in midweek even. ORvR is nice because do you remember what happens when you try to goto T2 zone when you're T3, maybe just want to finish missing PQ's off like i did..'Poof', chicken time. ORvR you can go one tier lower without turning into poultry. This does not apply to Scenario's, but means you can help guildies a tier lower now. More freedom.
Just reroll people. The two server options are, i believe, the deadest servers in EU. They would need ALL the population from the other low servers to even get good numbers, and even then may not be high.
@ Jestar: If you want a guild at all, just give me a tell/mail, im Zorbie, we got active T1's and T2's. I can mail you some instructions for the healing mods like i did another new RP. R6 in two hours, that is very fast! I dunno how some do it. One of the guildies said he did R10 in 4 hours, i can't see it possible, even chaining scenario's with the quests, though if you get a good group of you, i suppose you could get some ace XP. But even then, that's maybe 35k per hour.

Once again I make a plea to any peeps here with non-guilded alts on Karak Eight Peaks. I am trying to get a Guild started up but am really struggling to get the 6 people needed online at the same time, so please, if you're about tonight and fancy giving a fellow OcUKer a few minutes of your time, would it be at all possible to meet me in Altdorf after 6pm tonight to get it done? You can leave right after it is done, I don't expect anyone to stay, I just want to get it started.

Hmmm... I might be tempted to roll another character on Eltharion to see how good it is, and if this oRvR suits me
I'm not seeing a lot of difference to be honest. The tier 1 quest hubs are protected anyway, threre's no penalty for dying, and there doesn't seem to be any noob camping going on at all. It's a bit unnerving to hear that 'flagged for RvR' sound the second you log in, but it makes the whole experience a bit more interesting too.
It's a wrench to leave my 24 wp behind, especially since he's a bit of a tome unlock hunter, but having lots of people online makes up for it.
well, im on 8peaks with about 6-15 ppl in guild on line and abut 50-150 in the allanice on line most days/nights and its good fun so far, the chicken is also fun as ive been told i can get titles for killing people while in chicken form here i come!
need all you guys on Eltharion to come to 8peaks or to get the guild we have on 8peaks moved on mass... still, as long as everyone is happy and having fun

25 Runepriest/ 24RR here. Had amazing setup and levelled cultivating and apoc too, had a bank full of ingredients.
But it's better to cut your losses now and let the captain sink with his ship, i'm already in the lifeboat, rowing my way to the Bahamas
No difference i've seen either, except in RvR you get some people a tier higher than you sometimes swinging the balance or chasing you, but adds to the fun and it works both ways.

Tbh though, i want as many game options as possible. ORvR is the same game, just more opportunities for RvR. I'm nt a PvPer by nature, but i like a game being open. Doesn't mean i'll take advantage of the situation, but it's nice to to have that option there. And it also means that T1's can group with T2's,etc. I haven't tried this yet, which is stupid, because the XP would be huge i expect, but dunno.

It's not a whole lot different at endgame on the busy servers. The general trend is people get to 40, quickly get bored and start an alt or cut down their playing time. Apart from doing Serpents Passage over and over or keep trading, which is all RvR consists of right now, or a bit of PvE every three/seven days there really is nothing to do.
Well im planing on getting either the WP or the SM to 40 and going loking for RvR fights all the weekend got to be good fun....
will pop over to the Elth server and see what its like for people as 8peaks is busy in most places, but im only lvl 17 so not been to the higher levels yet of course, but the BG's pop around 10secs to 2 mins most time i have waited for a game to come to me yet.
not sure the diff of Orvr or the 8peaks one is enough to make me move though.

i have a lvl 22 Zealot amongst too many alts and i find i play it more than my others chars atm... ive gone for tons of intelligence and a fair amount of willpower. I found the Zealot really comes into its own when you can use two tactic slots meaning you can dish out good dmg and slap a load of HoT's on yourself.
I agree it can take forever to take down some enemies but its quite funny when they think they have you near death only for you to hit 'Embrace the Warp' meaning you take 50% less dmg and your skills cannot be set back while casting meaning you can use your best heals quickly with 25% less AP cost.. you also get 'Breath of Tzeentch' which knockbacks all enemies within 30ft at lvl 25
its a good class and vital in a group where your skills can sway how a battle will go, persevere ... ;p
Finaly got my Zealot to lvl 40 (few days ago actualy), because im on Karak Norn we lack people, there is very little RVR going on and if there is you can get some fun for few hours. I am not sure about how long this game will hold my interest as it seems it's all a bit the same, taking keeps, defending keeps, scenarios etc, too many overpowered classes, zealots seem to be the weakest, you can do some aoe damage but it is not a killer, i would need to hit other players for 45 second at lest before they are dead while some other classes can kill me in less that 10.
Anyway I am giving this game another month or two and see what happens next.

Agreed that is the problem, but mainly because people, for the vast majority, haven't reached endgame (unlike the obsessive US servers). Also, people still getting to grips with the game mechanic. same happened with WoW, when i played from beta in US, Molten Core was near impossible for a while, i never got past first mobs.
also doesn't help many people like me having to re-roll and start again. but agreed, if i was level 40, i may have found myself wondering about a bit.
i only get 2-3 levels a weekend and sprea dthat over 2-3 chars, so level 40 for me is not a thing im rushing to get, if i wanted to rush, id take a week off work and go back to wow.

Karak norn is one of two of the servers available for people to transfer to. so you may find a surge in players when that becomes available, but i for one won't be bothering with transfer until they offer different servers, because Norn, like you said, is dead. By then though, i'll have my Eltharion char to same level as my Worlds edge char anyway, so the transfer probably won't interest me at all.
Again, if anyone doesn't have a guild on Eltharion and wants one, send me a tell (Zorbie) when i'm online and i'll drop you an invite (Or mail if you like). We aren't short of players online, but can never have too many and would be goodto ahve some OCUKers there (It's the only WAR forum of any type that isn't blocked by the company web server - no, i'm not risking using a proxy lol)
