Primo Lite AMD X2 5200+ PC

Hi,

Recently purchased this PC from OC. Having problems getting broadband connected. (Virgin Media are seriously useless btw).

The following Devices have exclamation marks next to them which I think may be causing the problem.

PCI Bridge Device
PCI Device
SM BUS Controller

Does anyone know where to get the drivers for these.

motherboard driver disk or goto the manufacturers website and download them from there, this really should not have been sent out like this, but it is OCUK and slackness is customary!

There doesn't appear to be a Mobo Disk and the pc is "off site" with no broadband connection. ho hum!

Can you confirm which one is correct. M2CN61P was not found in the search but V3-M2NC61S as PD suggested is there.

Also which of these do i need to download to resolve the problem?

Out of those you mentioned only AUDIO is on the list

download the ASUS Update V7.13.05 for Windows 2000/XP/XP 64bit/vista/vista 64bit in the utilities section and it will update all of your drivers for you. hth

Do you know which Nforce drivers are required for this PC?

You will have to install the LAN driver to get it to work with a network connection to the internet.

Did you order the system with Windows installed?

I would recommend dropping a call to our system support line, there should have been a letter included with the system incase you needed any technical support.

Hi,
No we installed our own version of XP Home.
Ive tried various drivers from Nvidia and Asus.
In the device manager there is now an exclamation mark for Ethernet Controller and PCI Device.
We are trying to install a broadband router into the ethernet port but its not working.
The pc as said is off site and im trying to sort this out with someone over the phone! They have a laptop with an internet connection working so she is able to download drivers onto the laptop and copy them to the pc via an external hdd.

EDIT i phoned the helpdesk this morning and they advised me to d/l the drivers from asus but no joy so far?
