You guys are just beating a dead horse. The whole MGS4 is a movie thing has been discussed to death, give it a rest or take some pills for your incredible short attention span.

I'm surprised if the cut-scene length it true though, especially over #1, but it was a long time ago now.
Back OT, it will probably be overlooked, but my vote for handheld game would go to Professor Laytons Curious Village. Started playing this last week on the DS and it's a very well put together game, albeit infuriating at times.

Id be very surprised if GoW2 gets anything other than X360 title considering what people have said in the main thread and what friends have said about the game...

lol those nominations are so hilarious, who the hell came up with those? i mean example being best multiplayer game, COD world at war, surely COD4 is more popular since more people are playing it, and have been for a long time now 
so thats utterly ridiculous best driving game, how on earth can they add mario kart wii before the motorstorm games is laughable best graphics, come the hell on, crysis wins that hands down regardless and its not even nominated, so thats a lol.com moment right there best PS3 game, resistance II which isn't even out over here yet, so how that got nominated is laughable, best sports game, wii fit? strictly speaking how can this be even classified as a sports game? its more of an 'i cant be bothered to go to the gym' game, well at least it made me laugh

It will be game of the year just from gameplay alone, the cutscenes just add to it.
