Gears of war 2 Horde

I am trying to host a game but It won;t let me invite anyone and the invite al function doesn't work. I just hear like an error sound when I press "back".

Just checked on xbox forums and it is Live, I think, that is the problem. People having trouble doing anything multiplayer in Gears and also Halo 3.

Ah well single player for now.

Well we got to 18 on hardcore.

Live was being a PITA earlier and I couldn't get on at all.

out of curiousiity, do you have to get to wave 50 in one go from the beginning i.e. surviving that long? or can you just carry on from where you all last died?

I would assume the same as all the other waves, you can continue from the last wave you beat.

If you die you can either carry on from the wave number you were just on or start again from the beginning.

Even if you all decide you all have had enough you can quit and select the wave number you got to and carry on another time.

If your looking to do this from start to finish it will take you around 7-8 hours.

Well that's how long it took us with a party of 3 from level 1 to 50.
