***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Managed expert last night with 1 of my friends. Reaching the last room is the hardest part as once you're at the stand off things can be made really easy by good placing of the petrol canisters.

Wed - Im actually a fan of the resident evil movies so they are a possibility when im burned out from the games first 24 hrs :)

I've watched a few of these movies in the past few days as well. :D Day of The Dead(original) is such an overlooked zombie movie

Well if someone's voicing a positive opinion it would often just be met with agreement but when you go the other way it would be helpful if you gave some reason in your original post rather than leaving it to get attention.

The thing is I have explained in several posts on this page, and I still get such an aggressive response. Maybe I should have explained straight away, but do you really think I deserved being called a moron for having a different opinion? I think you went a bit overboard on a opinion of a game. I thought these forums were open to more relaxed discussion it's just a game after all, nvm :o.

Tbh, any post that just says "Rubbish game" and doesn't mention reasons why deserves everything it gets. It's clearly something aimed to get a reaction out of people. You've later expanded on your points and that's fair enough (not everyone is going to like the game/get the same impression of it) but posting something inflamatory and then complaining when people are inflamed seems a bit short-sighted to say the least.
 
has anyone else had the infected run straight past you to attack your team mates if for example you are in a dark area on subway with flash light turned off. i mean i just ran up the stairs to trains and my team were healing up downstairs and all of a sudden a stream of infected came charging past me down the stairs. i didnt know whether to shoot or run. but in the end i rushed down stairs after them and pumped them full of shotgun shells.

That wasn't the intention of my comment at all, however now I do see how it may seem that was my intention, and I apologise if that's what people thought (I still think the reactions were over the top though).

The thing that got me is that I was called a moron for not explaining my point, only after I had posted 4 more posts explaining why I think this. If I just left it as the original comment I could understand the criticism, but instead someone decides to not read the read and instead just decides to flame.
 
the multiplayer side of things on this game is such a dissapointment. it just refuses to work properly. disconnect this, time out that... utter pants.
 
Still thinking if I should pre-order mine, I've had graphic textures all over the screen, plenty of dc's although the new update seems to be better. I am however getting some mega lag spikes, however that may be an issue with us (although I can't understand why).

That's a fair point - I do hate it when people don't bother to read follow-ups to a post.

I dont think that has anything to do with the multiplayer side. Ive played it about 50 times and only lost connection once. Maybe you are just unlucky.
