Tomb Raider : Underworld Demo

I found my legend last night, doesn't work now though, starts to load then i get the grey protection box, its been shut down to protect your computer from harm rubbish, Anniversary does the same as well. :(

Try deleting the game config files as both Legend & Aniversary work perfect for me on a 4850 & 4870 under both XP & Vista 32 bit. Think whenever you change gfx drivers since the last time you launched the game it picks this up as a hardware change so needs to bring up the game config launcher again to reselect your res etc etc
 
Hmm, i cant see it being that, as i done all that when i installed them both, so bugger knows whats up with them. :confused:

Wonder if its a codec problem, as it seems to get to the point where the logos etc... are supposed to come on when it bombs out, and i know when i reinstalled, i didn't put the CCC codec pack back on, but surely thats a long shot.

That can cause issues so worth a try also I have both working on cats 8.10 not bothered with 8.11 yet.
 
Not sure if its been mentioned yet but for this game you would have to buy the 360 version as well for the complete experience!! Yep thats right MS have paid for more exclusive DLC so 360 owners get 2 entire levels early next year.

Its just odd that when i had me 8800 GT in under SP1 they worked fine, now ive reinstalled and gone through to SP3, changed me card to a 4850, they won't have it, yet this ones fine.:confused:

well scary this game. I find the oceon very spooky and eary.... and when you dive all the way down to the bottom and theres sharks etc....

:( i love it though. I love a good scare.

The DLC stuff is going to be seperate from the main story so I'm not that fussed.
 
Are you guys talking about the full game now, or still the demo? Because I really don't remember anything in the demo like what you guys are describing!
