Anyways I sent off the payment successfully but checked my Barclays online banking and its charged my old account still! Now this account doesnt have any money in it so they have put me in the -£50 and ill be charged commmision for it!!

Will I be able to transfer £50 to my old account via Online Banking and it will be sorted?

or will I be in the crapper and have to go down to Barclays / ring Paypal...?

Help :(

Im sure you can transfer the fees across to the other account online but they may still charge you.

cant you read the T&C?

This happened to me once. I sent an email off to paypal about it, the reply was basically along the lines of "not our problem". I hate payal.

Errmmm not sure wtf that did...Transfered £60 over and it says im +£52 in my old account...Confusion...

You can transfer over immediately using barclays online banking, paypal are always using my old account for some random reason so i just transfer my money over :/

You can see from the statement that Paypal debited you £50 then they have put that money back in, so effective balance is £0, but Barclays have then charged you £8 (they have changed the way they charge you, going from £22 once a week to £8 each day for so many days i seem to recall) comission for going into an unauthorised overdraft. So by transferring £60 in it's paid the £8 charge and left you with £52 out of your £60.

Best bet is to phone barclays today and explain the situation, refer them to the fact the money went out and straight back in and so long as you dont habitually go ito your overdraft they should refund the £8.
