Is this because your wondering about packing it quickly after using it? If so, just pour water on it till you can touch it with out reflexes telling your arm to jump away!

I just did a quick experiment for you. I left the frying pan on my desk, and it's 18'C surface temp. But it was very hot on the hob.... So I'm not sure what makes it hot.

I cooked an entire fry up including black pudding and fried bread on a small flame heated pan, so you'll have no prob. Unless of course you want to cook an entire pig. Then I'd use two
