Low mileage for a deisel!

cos its my money and i like the diesel over petrols and the car was cheap. nothing wrong at all with the car if you ask me, it will sit at 70 all day and gets over 700miles on a full tank which is all i need.

Right got one of my current ride, its gone pap quality since uploading it though:

He likes the way it drives, which is understandable, the way an 80bhp 1.7 DTI delivers its power is quite pleasing. I like the way it makes the dash shake at idle.

Old Vauxhall of some sort? Looks in Good Nick!

*Flame suit on*

Its a 1990 Mk2 Astra CDi. I'm the second owner (3 years) and its just clocked up 25K miles. Full Vauxhall service history, 13K miles in its first year then an average of 700 miles every year since although its only done around 200 miles each year for the last 6 years.

Goes to a few car shows over the summer and stays in a garage at all other times.

Not a classic by any means but it has no rust, drives perfectly and does what I want it to :)

Still need to clean the drivers mate. Its the only dirt on the car lol.

i dont get it with this place. it was my choice to buy the car, it does what i need it to do end of story really. yes i know the same old story of i could have got a better petrol for the same price an whats the point of a diesel if you do low miles. theres no point in having anything flash round here as it just get dings and knocks in it from car parks.

sorry my choice doesnt stand upto OCUK standards :p

A few people love to make negative comments about other people's cars. Laugh it off or have a bit of a keyboard war with them as long as you realise they'll still think the same no matter how strong your argument :)
