I saved some holiday for the Lan and was supposed to be working xmas day and boxing day. My Line Manager said I could have those days off if I liked, so there was no competition really. Plus I really didnt fancy driving all that way on my own.

Hahaha it's just that I travel 100 miles to work and back each day. When you drive that much you kinda never fancy doing it again on your off days.

If my mrs was anyway into gaming and she shared the driving I would, driving on my own for that length would bore the **** off me.

Its a lovely hotel on the Welsh Coast, there is a beach just outside, great views (provided there is no mist) and a good walk or 2 to be had.

You could "compromise" on the holiday. You get to game in the evenings and she gets to take you our on long romantic walks during the day.

Edit: And now that ~J~ is not going, we might even see some wildlife.
