I have to say at 30, and after about 3 beers, all i want to do is fall asleep, is this fair doos?

Not that i was every a big drinker, but i can't really ever go out as am just so tired after drinking any amout of alochol nowadays.

Im 18 and on a good night i can put away about 9 - 10 pints of stella plus shots and a few bottles of smirnoff :) i dont tend to feel sleepy but more like i want to just eat and eat, last week i ate 2 chinese takeaways after drinking :/

When I was 17/18 10 pints was a heavy night, now Im 21, 10 pints is an afternoon into the evenings drinking.
its not so much how much I can drink but the hang overs have deff got worse in the last 2 years!

MiNxYyY, do you like the taste of stella?

I had a few the other week and it's absolutely nasty, still a bit better than Budweiser though.

it gets harder to recover the older ya get thats for sure

when I was 20 I could drink all night, go back to somebodies house then do a full days work + o/t with no sleep

nowadays if I had more than 5 pints and got in at midnight I would struggle to make it into work :o

I cant handle my drink anymore, its a combination of not drinking for a while and losing a lot of body mass :<

I wasn't too bad a few years ago (20-21) back at the start of uni but I have since lost any and all major appetite for drinking a lot on any given night out.

A fair amount (3/4 pints and maybe some spirits) is enough for me most night out these days!

Few good Ales and a cosy wood fire and I'm happy as larry, really can't do the whole going out drinking 376 pints of lager in 42 minutes then staggering back to the kebab shop. I prefer a quieter, more relaxed environment :)

Unfortunately I could drink for England. I try not to overdo it these days though, I'd like to see my grandchildren, should I have any, and get some value back from my pension contributions.

Funnily enough, vodka and red bull makes me sleepy.

One of my female friends used to drink Rose and Red Bull, classy I know and it did the same to her.

I can't get drunk. That is, stumbling all over the place, trying to start fights, not having any control or thought over what I do, not remembering what I've done etc.

Basically as soon as I reach the amount of alcohol needed for all the above I just puke. It's kind of annoying, but then I've never been a heavy drinker.

It's hilarious all the people talking about drinking upwards of 6 or 7 pints. Are people just really ignorant or do they just not care about what they do their bodies?

That's not a lot and at the time it's worth it :p

About half a year ago I had a 100cl of Sambuca. Did 15 shots in a row for £20 and can't remember from there on, this was at 9pm. I woke up at 11am being told I had finished the entire bottle and took a slash in the guys fire place. I had to stay off college for 2 weeks and couldn't eat properly for 6. This saturday night I had one shot of Sambuca, it started to go down my throat and my body rejected it pretty much instantaneously and I spewed my meat feast pizza allover the garden :(
