Anyone know what this mofo is??

Me and the wife were watching the TV last night and this ran straight past me on the floor at speed. Quite big also but forgot to measure it.

I'm wondering as the neighbour 3 doors away found a nest of False Widow Spiders in his outside light. I know this is not one of them but I am interested to know exactly what it is, especially as we have a friend round occasionally with an 8 month old baby.
