vista 32bit key with 64bit version

Is it possible to use my 32bit key with a 64bit vista installation?

Or will it detect which version to install from the key im using?

When I swapped to 64-bit I just used the same key. You may have to activate by phone but just tell them what you've done and it'll be fine.

Yep, your key can be used for 32bit or 64bit, but you can only install one or the other.

I dont have a 64bit disc as of yet only OEM.

How do i know which version im installing?

The disc will have stamped which version.

I have a question, I have vista ultimate retail. The wife laptop has vista 32 home installed.

Dose the Ultimate Vista have all versions on the disk. (Home key will install only the home version from the Ultimate disk)

This may not help, but my ultimate vista (download from digital river) had all versions on it.
