Dell 23" S2309W - anyone got one?

Looks very nice £219 inc vat and del at the moment....

That's the 2409 you're thinking about, this is the 23" version which is even cheaper (£187.99) but it lacks the HDMI input.

I might order one of these in the next couple of days, so i'll let you know how it goes. I would assume it's safe to say the monitor is very similar to the 2409and there is some good feedback on that here on the forums. The only difference being that this monitor will have smaller pixels (and no HDMI connector).

No its not its the S2309W I'm referring to but that price of £219 is on the Dell UK website :)

Although I think its free delivery to loyal forum members ...

Be nice to see some pictures if you get one though ;)

Ah ok sorry i thought you were talking about OcUK prices. Yes sure thing, i will post some pictures if i get one.

I'd think it would be a poor choice for exhibition use, considering it uses a TN panel, thus generally poor viewing angles.

Just as a large PC monitor so I can sit with customers and show them products etc. Doesnt need to be viewable from crazy angles as the seating will be in front of the display.

Personally I have a Samsung 913N which is a TN as far as im aware. Can view the monitor from the side easily and the top, goes very dark from the bottom though but thats not a problem.

Would also consider the Dell S2409W and Samsung SM-2443BW. Any differences in their image quality?
