Girlfriend "cheats" on me in our engagement party

3 Don’t ask for advice on the internet from a bunch of computer geeks most of whom are still virgins and have no ******* idea about women.
4 Don’t ask for advice on the internet from a bunch of computer geeks who get off on other people’s misery.

it makes no sense when people post stuff like this on here to me. YOU are posting on here, does this mean you are a virgin geek as well? or just everyone else?

I am indeed a virgin and a geek. I even play warcraft, that’s how sad I am.

When does most mean everyone? or everyone other than me? But your quite right I should have said "a lot of" rather than most. Would have avoided any confusion and not given the pedants any ammo.

But anyway lets not get distracted from the main topic.

Well, These relationship threads do keep coming up.

imo on this matter tho. She was drunk its not like she actually slept with anyone  She pulled away when a man went to snog her. Let me just say that again SHE pulled away when A MAN WENT to snog her. Not the other way round

I personally felt you over-reacted. If you saw she was getting very drunk you should have stopped her before hand not let her go overboard.

I wouldnt break up just over that its silly.

I'm of the opinion he should not have let it go that far. She was drunk he knew this, by sitting back and letting things happen he is just as responsible, he should be asking himself why he just sat back and let her make an a$$ out of herself.

I dont normally give second chances but it sounds like she is relaly sorry, and if she is making the effort not to drink ever again I would definately give it another go, BELIEVE me thats not said easily...

Stelly

I wonder if because of his laidback attitude (see; "i don't get jealous") that he just let it fly. Then in the cold light of day he actually got angry and felt humiliated at the thought of her doing waht she did, right in front of him, without him stopping her?
Either way, its a daft situation. She shouldn't have done it....but she did!
He should have stopped her....but he didn't! Maybe she would have made a huge scene if he tried to stop her and possibly caused more grief, who knows.
They're both responsible for their parts in this. Work it out, or leave it be!

sucks to be you.

try not to paint everyone on here with your brush though.

I'm married with a 7 month old so I know there is a group of people who fit that description, but did you read the responses on here? I don’t think a large percentage of that demographic are actively taking part in this thread.

If you care to argue because I made a remark which frankly still holds water that’s fine but you’re going to have to do it on your own.

Cuppa,

Just read your long post :)

I just had to say I like it.

Your pointers are great lol

I do wonder why so many people lately are asking for advice on relationships on a Computer forum. Very odd. Anyhoo I have work to be getting on with

why do people make such ca big deal about posters seeking advice on a forum. It aint soley occupied by computer geeks. If it were, GD would be empty.....but it aint.
Its just another medium to air your concerns/view/opinions whatever. Some folk may find it easier to converse anonymously (like agony aunt hotlines etc) than face to face with friends. On forums you hit a greater cross-section of opinions, which can help to a degree. Although not with the hyenas at ocuk ready to rip to shreds anyone who dare spill their guts about such personal stuff.
Its really no biggie. At the end of the day, you either give your considered opinion, take the pish out of them or plainly sympathise. And they will either take heed and make a considered decision or not.
Don't drag it out though......have your say..........or don't. Then move on.
