My Vista is getting slower now, I've uninstalled programs I
don't use, had a general clean up, defeagged, run spy bot etc
but stll slow.
I know a clean install would be the best option, but I've got soooo much happily where I like it !!!!

I don't keep divx, images, music etc on the system disk,
and also have a "download folder" hard disk, so it's not those
muddled up on the C Drive

I-tunes was a nightmare last time I re-installed!!!!!

So does anyone use ??? to do a nice clean to speed up the
system ??

Never been a big fan of CCleaner - a bit too aggressive at times - I really like Ashampoo's Winoptimiser - you have to pay, but it really is that good.

O&O should be hard coded onto every machine sold - it's awesome!

Really, how so?

I found it empties everything from my browser (passwords/logins etc...) and occasionally I had issues with drivers being broken by it - It may well be that I just need to tweak the options - but I always got the feeling that Winoptimizer defaults safe, and you can tweak it to be more aggressive, where CCleaner defaults aggressive and you have to tweak it safe - never had a broken install of anything after Winoptimizer...
