The longer I play, the more my weapons are degrading! Where previously I could have used a single clip to take down multiple people, now it's a single clip per person! :eek:
 
Loving the game myself. Graphics are superb, a step up from COD4 and quite how anyone is saying the opposite is beyond me! Obviously has the same respawning issues as the previous COD games but I was expecting that so not a problem :)
 
Nice game wonderful graphics.....................only problem is..............the game slows down for some reason.
I'm trying not to play the game all the time as I want to enjoy the journey:D.
I played the first part where you are rescued, the firefight is in slow motion for me as I lag. when I run towards the temple and the japs come out of the bush next to the temple I slow right down.
I'm running at max res (1920 X 1200) even tried bringing the res down to 1600 X 1200 still the same any ideas guys? I don't want to go any further untill I can play comfortable.

COD4 ran perfect cant understand why this should run slow....................game has also been patched to 1.1
running vista 32...check my sig for the rest.

If you have an X-Fi try uninstalling it and reinstalling it with the newest drivers, then turn everything off in the X-fi control panel i.e. 3d sound etc.
 
dont know then mate. I was getting about 18fps in game with an ATI 4850 now I'm getting ~50fps when its hectic 70 normally
 
Has anyone else noticed how this game just will not let you control one half of the map in a game of say TDM, never had a problem with a well organised team in COD4 but COD5 just seems to start spawning the enemy in your midst and you if you hold a side of the map for two long. Not a big problem, just means new tactics but its a sham, you cant seem to dominate the lesser beings quite as harshly as you used to be able to :D
 
I keep forgetting to join hardcore servers. Without, I can empty a clip into someone and they don't die, and I'm not that bad a shot (I don't know if that's the way with cod4, I only played hardcore).

Make sure they are "proper hard core servers", by default putting the server in hardcore mode just removes the HUD, you have to manually tweak the hit point values to bring it on par with CoD4 hard core.

Love it in hard core mode, just got tooooo many issues with the game at the moment, hopefully the 1.2 patch should fix them.
 
best to play NON HARDCORE for a start.

why you ask? hardcore makes your aiming sloppy/lazy.you can get away with less than required skill to get kills which you shouldnt.

so play normal first get decent then if sure you still dont like normal then play hardcore and youll do a lot better ;)

a few of my clanmates play it and i often go on rants at them cause when it comes to serious side of gaming they moan cause the guy didnt go down when " i just put a full clip in him " . you shouldnt go down with anything less than accurate shots.this will make you play /become better in the long run.
 
Apart fom the real slow load times in between levels, which i know i can fix if i delete the vid files, im really enjoying this game.

The graphics are superb and the gameplay is sweet, not tried the MP yet but if its anything like cod 4's i will love it.....

I hate MP maps with tanks. No skills needed to kill. Just got this today without even trying.

7 Kills by Dogs

31 kill streak.

Just completed it on hard

Few moans :

I think they really need to get rid of the grenade spawning by your feet everytime you find a nice spot to pick a few off, and the ai that can see you through walls and pick you off from anywhere on the map if you progress too quickly.

Spawning wasnt quite as bad as cod 4 but still fippin nuts in this


Played really well though and didnt have a single issue or crash in Single player, Looking forward to some Nazi Zombie slaying now :D
