Should parents have any say on what I buy?

In some ways I don't miss being that age, you're not allowed an opinion and at times no one seems to take you seriously. Now I'm older life gets easier.
 
Yes, you should be able to spend your money how you like. At 18 I was living on my own, so I think you should be more than capable of money management.

Although the fact he's buying an enormous TV on a finance package so poor he wont even get to have the TV until he's paid every installment makes it blatantly obvious that he is incapable of money management.
 
Update.

I bought the TV in one go and have had 5 lessons so far.

Everyone happy.

Why the hell has this been revived?

Update....Been married 3 times, had four kids, changed job, had a mid life and a bit of a fling with the girl in the admin department. Changed jobs again, got promoted, finished paying CSA, retired.

Got bus pass. No need for driving licence. Should have got the telly.
