great, now i'll never be able to fit his freaking huge head through the door now.

Carzy also recommended the following bands to me: Razorlight, oasis, joe lean and jing jang jongs, after i mentioned i liked GWAR.

Heh, these forums are good. I've seen the odd movie or two that I'd normally never see or had never even heard of until somebody here suggested it.

They are an amazing band, and their music has given me peace at times when I really needed it.

I have their entire discography, to anyone who doesn't, try to find more then just their big 3 albums. A huge recommendation from me.

S'alright mate, very good band, and great live too.

And Adam mate, new Oasis is sooo good isn't it! Oasis and Razorlight are two of my all time favourite bands! Wooo!

Yeah, fantastic band, though there's not enough reverb on the latest albums.

I just got the deluxe edition of Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust delivered a week or so ago. Like all their album packaging, it's beautifully designed. A big bound book of tour and studio photography, a strip of the 16mm film from the Gobbledigook video (let's just say I wasn't too enamoured by the frames I got) along with the CD album and a DVD... oh, and my name on the last couple of pages .

was that because you donated? I forget whether I did or not lol...
In a way... it was a music Cash for Honours. I ponied up the money for a preorder about 6 months ago. They sent an email when they started putting it together letting us know that we would get credited for doing so.

To show our gratitude to you for your support in ordering the Deluxe Edition we want you to become a part of it. We are going to credit you and all the people who have purchased the Deluxe Edition so far by listing your name in the book. That way you will become part of this unique document.

I don't like their newest record, however Takk and ( ) are brilliant.

Personally I think Takk is their worst album. Out of all their studio albums, Takk is the only one I can only listen to two songs on before I have to turn it off. The other albums I can put on, listen to them right through and completely forget that I even have them playing.

Haha I think I got the recommendation for SR from here many moons ago also. I also went to see them last week, but they were a lot better at Benicassim in the summer I thought.
