Best car you have driven this year?

Would have to be my car to be honest, havent driven much this year, thought the VXR8 would trump it but I was disappointed as you could really feel its size and the seating position was terrible.
 
Hmm, only driven 2 cars that weren't mine this year! One is in the "Worst car" thread, so by a process of deduction the other one must be the best!

2007 Alfa 159 2.4 JTD - Well built (for an Alfa), good handling (For a FWD saloon), excellent engine (for a diesel)
 
the one in my sig, followed by my old mondeo, then a citroen picasso and the worst i've driven is a new Corsa 1.2 life :(
 
Drove a friends Maserati Granturismo earlier in the year, absolutely beautiful car and it handles far better than you'd expect of something so physically big. If I had £80k I can't think of anything I'd rather buy, just wish I'd had a longer journey in it...

On a more sane level, I test drove an Audi S5 a month or so back on a whim. Nice car but I'm not convinced.

On an everyday level, I had new 3 series for a week or so at the start of the year and for the money it really is excellent, I'm not generally a BMW fan but it's a lovely car...
