The backbone of this squad is completely unrecogniseable from last year, let alone 5 years ago. Denilson, Song, Djourou and Silvestre, my god man, and watching so far theres just been nothing, quality about us so far. Hoyte, up against a switching SWP and Roninho, he's not blessed with any decent pace as it is, aswell as just not being very good. Yet another great call, surely the incredibly fast Gibbs would at least have pace on his side and not spend the first 20 mins of the game unabled to keep up with either player, or Toure, where the hell is Toure these days, he seems to be our defensive midfielder substitute brought on to shore up games, with a retarded formation we go on to lose with.

Every week some new level of ridiculousness happens.

Diaby on the right, looks crap so far, Bendtner and RVP upfront neither of which is really the main striker but both support strikers. RVP right wing, bendtner with Vela infront of him would be far better. infact, even go with Diaby or RVP as the attacking central mid, we've got no creativity, pace or even good passing ability there. We just look so poor, thank god for Kompany's fouling so far.

I love it people who spout crap and didn't watch the game, prior to Sidwells mess up Alvez missed a sitter that should have put Boro a head anyway. All the last 5 minute goals Boro have conceded they could be top 6.

It's Alves, and it's bad finishing if he misses sitters (which I did see, yeah), Villa were the better team.

I can guarantee Boro won't be where they are now at the end of the season.
