No it buys a different kind of "class" for different tastes, especially as in their traditions and history, lots of gold and the stuff you see there now = class.

Interestingly the Atlantis hotels are owned by a company who in the past have stuck to the ultra high-end - eg the One&Only clubs in St Lucia, the Maldives, Bahamas etc. Atlantis (I believe) is their first venture into large resort-type, more mass-market stuff.

Sure, that opening might not be 'classy', but I'll bet the resort is great. The Atlantis Bahamas is absolutely fantastic

Of course I'm biased as my family have a couple of timeshares there but hey, if the pound keeps weakening we won't be looking so silly

Pretty much the lack of contract law being upheld, resulting in many people being severely screwed. Most notably on the world Islands.

It could all be hearsay, but im inclined to think otherwise.
