hello
at the moment have got a thermaltake case with built in watercooling and am only watercooling the cpu .have just upgraded graffix cards to 1 asus 4870x2 and this thing runs hot so am gonna watercool it.
my question is the pipe work.do i go this route...pump to cpu to vga then back to pump ie a simple loop configuration or do i use Y conectors and split the outlet and inlet?

thanks byeeee

I have my setup: Rad > CPU > GPU > Res > Pump.

Sounds like the sensible option, same as mine but I don't have a res in my loop. Temps always been good on the 2 cards I've cooled using that loop order, even with CPU and GPU overclocked (7900 GTO and 8800 GTS), just about to swap out the 8800 for a 4870 :)

So to answer your original question, I'd stick with a single loop.

As long as the Pump follows the Res, it makes no difference (with temps) as to what order the blocks are in. 2 loops always perform better than 1 loop with multiple Rads. Set up your loop so that its neat (without kinks) and uses as little tubing as possible.
