Refresh the servers,
close the game,
restart the game,
choose your server (don't refresh again)

It does it to me every time unless I do this, its the same problem from the Beta.

Also add servers to favourites and join through there - less problems that way

To me this shows how unfinished the game is.
On a beta i'd expect to do things like that, but on release software. Then again its only the pc players that are having problems, Console lot get it easy.

For a game based on CoD4 code how much of the decent code did they rip out an replace with Sinclair Spectrum code? ;)

Un-installed mine, multiplay wouldnt work and used to wipe out my ip stack and single player stopped working with exception errors.

This is a on a pc that plays everything else fine. CoD4 runs like a dream. Never had any online issues or game crashes ever.
 
got till lvl 12 zombie level just 2 people

edit: did anyone found any death cards? i finished the game did not find any

No I didn't find a single one - is that only for the console version? :confused:

Just having a bit of fun with the zombies. Is there an end point to this level lol?

Well after what happened last night that was a very enjoyable game in all. Graphics, score, sound effects were all good. I did like having a load of buddies to help shoot back but in fairness I died too many times as a result of bumping into them. :/. The story was good, I did like it wasn't all yank all the way through, and shifting from the Pacific Theatre to Russia then Berlin was pretty fun.

8/10.

Just finished SP mode. Found 4 cards. Had a quick blast at the Zombies got to lvl 3 due to laughing so much. Great game
 
Anyone else get hold of the shotgun/trenchgun on the single player and just run through the level knifing and shooting? :p
 
Need some help here guys - got it stuck in windowed mode! I've delted the line from the shortcut but it makes no difference, still runs windowed! Any ideas how I stop it?
 
How popular is this online guys? Will it hold the longevity of CoD4? Only really interested in buying games for their online longevity these days, I just don't bother buying games for their single player campaigns. Thinking about putting it on my xmas/birthday list, but I'm not 100% sure!!
