~£6k replacement for 07 Fiesta

Hi

My sister (quite predictably) is bored of her 07 plate 1.4l Fiesta Zetec Climate. She bought it a year ago for £7,500. Parkers recons around £6k via a private sale, and only £5k exchange. Trouble is, she thinks she want to buy a Focus instead.... Which is kinda pointless as an upgrade. Ive tried to convince her that £6k buy your an aweful lot, but she wants a newist small car with 5 seats..... so please help, as my suggestions of a Lotus Elise, BMW 5 Series, or Mondeo havent gone down well

Just don't accidentally go past a vauxhall dealership any time soon with her or she'll end up with a corsa

Parkers is always wrong.

You would be best taking a look on piston heads/autotrader and see what they are going for.

Can u get a new Mini for £6k? Thort they were like Golfs and held stupidly high resale price for no reason?

Depends how new you want. You can get 2002/2003's for that price easily enough.

Shes a woman... meaning 2002/03 is "OMG OLD!" and anything over 30k miles is "OMG HIGH MILLAGE". Although she does like the new Mini, so I could make her see sence if she realises she could get a Mini Cooper with £6k... Whats the deal with Warranties on these? Can you keep adding them like you can (could) with other BMWs?

Fails the "5 seats" critera... which is a shame, cos an MR2/MX5/Elise would be great fun to steal when she isnt looking!
