Is this an ok rig ?

Need some advice on this rig please, i previously had what you see in my sig but since there was an accident involving a LOT of water i got this to replace it-

This seem ok or is it a big downgrade of what i had ?

I would say its a good rig, graphics card could do with updating though

Nothing survived from rig in sig, e.g. GFX? 2900 is no good especially compared to what you had before.

Is that a off the shelf system or you building new?

stick with AMD Deneb soon!

also get a better cpu cooler such as the noctura,termalright,tunqi

The parts that survived and weirdly got zero water on them was the ram and hard drive, im going to get a 4870 1GB again as its an amazing card apart from that i think im going to stick with the rest as apart from the card i havent noticed any difference in games apps or windows etc.. oh and its a self build.

No chance, i think im cursed with AMD as everytime i get an amd mobo cpu combo something goes horribly wrong lol

ill stick with intel/ati for a long long time.

dont get me wrong i think AMD are awesome but seriously everytime ive had an amd combo something goes horribly wrong. not the hardware itself but something to break the hardware, in this case it was a broken water pipe in my house lol, its actually quite spooky, Intel spys keep sabotaging my amd setups lol

well yes the case was fine just dryed it out, didnt touch any wires thankfully as i just got the 1200 lol and in terms of how much water, id say a good 2 pints, lets just say, case side window was off and i tripped over a wire >.<

I see what area did the water affect? your psu & cpu may be ok mobo & gfx are more than likly wreaked but hdds opticals cables should be fine you got a picture?
