Been having a look around the forums and these 3 jump out at me

Gigabyte GA-EP45-Extreme Intel P45

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Intel P45

Asus P5Q Deluxe Intel P45

Dont want to spend more than £150 and will be putting the E8600 under water with 4gb of PC8500 Ram.

Any thoughts.

For a serious setup avoid ASUS, pay a little more for the Gigabyte, not
only for the better build, but also for the features, and the ability they
have to work solid with a wider range of ram-modules,..... etc etc etc

I have my P5Q for sale now, I was looking at extreme or DQ6 insteadt,
but think that UD3P is likely where I end up,.. I have noticed scanning
tests and forums that many other people seems to put their money on
the UD3 series right now as well, I would prefer this one over extreme

- Ultra Durable 3 technology with 2 oz copper PCB for 50°C cooler working
temperature

- 2 PCI-E 2.0 x16 graphic interface with CrossFireX

Would be my choice without a doubt
I must admit i have read some very good things about it, Im not new to OCing but have been away for 8 months so have been a little out the loop.
Do you know if this mobo is picky about Ram?

Cheers
