it's perfectly possible to make a few £ from it, depends who you're targetting as to how well that will last you. planning on just going it alone? do you have the design and technical skills?
How are you intending to get clients?
I agree with the above, feasible of course. To be honest there's probably not much money in making static websites, but you might still find the odd company that have no idea about "the internet" and will pay you decent money for one.
As for anything more serious you really do need to know what your doing, or else your product is likely to look pathetic next to something done by a firm that has some relatively experienced designers.
That is a good question, google about....?
Ads, leaflets..?
having said that it's possible, one thing companies wont be doing at the moment is spending money where they dont need to, and unless your website drastically changes their position in their market then it's probably something you dont need. so generally yes it's still feasible, right now during whatever you want to call the economic situation, you'd probably struggle
Ah, I see, it was merely speculation I'm nowhere near marketing or tough budget decisions in my current job and haven't been for the past 9 monthsI disagree. We're absolutely booming at the moment. Lots of companies switching their advertising spend from print to online.
Depends if you're good though.
