I very vaguely remember a similiar thread but I cannot recall exactly where and when. Anyway, I'm doing this out of curiosity and also in part to prove a point to the GF that I don't frequently waste money on hardware :p

So, my recent graphic card history spread over the last 4 years.

Ti4200
Radeon 9800 Pro
"a 256MB AGP which name I cannot recall now"
8800GTS 640MB
HD 4870 1024MB

I hope this thread takes off. It'll be interesting to see how often people really upgrade.
 
unknown PCI (or ISA?) card (pentium 75 :D)

the best upgrade ive done

evga 260 core 216 much better than the 4870 ( in my eyes ) its stable! and doesnt require me comming on here and asking u guys questions about why it doesnt work
