I think several of us should be playing tonight so if you hear people insulting each other constantly and trying to feed uvmain to the tank, you know it's us :p

Apart from someone getting hooked by a smoker at one point, that tactic went well.

Unfortunately i think it ****ed off the AI director as it then proceeded to throw everything including the kitchen sink (well maybe a taxi anyway with the help of a tank :D) at us. Just when i thought it was sorted and could move forward another bunch of infected idiots decided to chase me into the toilet and nail me :(.

Hahaha :). This was just after *i think* Luw saying 'just sit in the toilet until you die'. I said 'never' and ran out to be confronted by all manner of nasties and it was at that point i ran back again into the toilet and met my demise.

All this was to the background music of laughing over the mics, cheers guys :p.

That would be me. I lost count of how many times those ******* grabbed me last night. The director really had it in for us - smoker drags me off the scaffolding into the fire where I'm promptly jumped by a hunter. I do like how badly this game screws you sometimes.

The hiding in a small room tactic wa good but it didn't save me in the end, all I could hear was Lew's manic laughter as the zombies horde burst in to finish me off :D

Just got the game on steam, 1.8MB/s so hopefully i will have it soon and will be playing alongside some OcUK people :D

Now all i have to do is figure out how to use the OcUK steam community thing to play with other OcUK players, i havn't used the community or steam friends thing before.

Then add members as you wish really...Annoying now as the group is too big for the friends list...so you have to be buddy's with people to just 'click and join' they're games now.

Unless I'm being dumb.

That's my understanding too

I played the demo for 2-3 days and enjoyed it whilst it lasted but haven't bought it, 4 player co-op isn't appealing to me to be honest, I think it should be 8 or 12 or even a free for all with 30+, the whole group / buddy's list is no good for someone just wanting the occasional last minute half hour fraggin' session as it alienates the casual L4D wannabee, the offline mode would suffice for me on this count but theres no offline SP demo enabling you to do this and I'm not paying near £30 for an occasional odd half hour to just "drop in" to buddies who are playing every night etc

There are plenty of servers I've played on where people have dropped in for 30 minutes or so and then headed off again. All you need to do is to choose "find a game in progress" or use direct connect to a server. Most people would be happy to have someone do that as you nearly always get someone dropping out part way through a campaign.

There's also far more servers with random selections of people playing than with 4 friends playing together. I know you don't have the opportunity to prove this with the lack of demo at the moment, but I think you've got the wrong impression about the game.
 
Well for some reason, even though i am joined to only the OcUK group, and the OcUK L4D group, the only servers showing up in the list of servers in my group thing, its showing up a list of lotus clan servers? no idea why they are showing up as being servers hosted in my group, any way to get rid of them and only show OcUK servers?

Are there even any groups 'tied in' with the L4D group?.......

I don't have any saved...I just join other peoples games, or get invited into lobbies.

What's your STEAM id Dist, and I'll add you as well.

My servers aren't tied to any groups (not my public ones at least). The private one is tied to the fragmanchester group and has cheats enabled, but that's just for messing around in really.

Sometimes this game cracks me up - all I can do is sit here and laugh....I must seem like a maniac to the people I play with, cos I get the giggles really easily :D

I just played a bit of versus online and i must say it is fun, but very annoying at times. Playing as infected isnt too bad since you don't have to worry about your team as much, but playing survivor and having one guy run off on his own, you either loose lots of life trying to get to him, or he gets himself killed and puts your team at a huge disadvantage then leaves the server.
 
I've joined the group even throu i haven't got the game yet, getting it for Christmas, loved the demo, just make sure your all still playing well into next year, so supprising how good this game is with 4 people on mics.
